After my studies, I wanted to explore as many countries as possible. I started in Canada, where I spent a few months in the Whistler mountains before moving to Tofino on Vancouver Island where I ended up for almost a year.
As a person who enjoys spending most of his time outdoors, Vancouver Island had everything I could ask for. If I wasn't working I would spend my time learning how to surf, hiking unexplored parts of the island, and or trying my best to catch (or eat) salmon. I would also regularly see killer whales in the marina, spot a whale if I was out on a boat, or see black bears running across the street. It all seemed very normal to Canadians.
During my time in Canada, I also travelled to the United States. Most memorable was a 4 week trip to Maui, Hawaii, and a long road trip from the West to East coast crossing 23 states. Both Canada and the United States truly have some incredibly diverse landscapes, impressive scenic drives, and some of the friendliest people I have ever met.
That's why I'm passionate about sharing these experiences with you and helping you design a one-of-a-kind holiday based on your wishes. Away from mass tourism, by staying in unique accommodation and by meeting hosts that have a passion for their part of the world.
