An idyllic cottage at the foot of the Sierra Nevadas

Located in Salt Creek Canyon, this cottage makes a great base for exploring the beauty of the surrounding area. From here, you can discover the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park by bike and even cycle through a redwood tree.

This cosy stay was built by the host, Rick himself, who now runs the cottage together with Martha. The detached cottage is located on 9 hectares of land near the hiking trails in Sequoia National Park. Here you can admire the world's largest trees, the giant sequoias, up close.

This is a quiet and peaceful place with comfortable rooms, and from the deck there are spectacular views of the lakes and meadows in summer and snow-capped mountains in winter. The house is an ideal place for solo travellers searching for friendly accommodation set in tranquil nature.
