Meet our travel experts

Courtney

Hi, I’m Courtney! A Canadian born and raised, but always an avid traveller. With family and friends across Canada and the United States, I have explored both my home country, and a large portion of the United States, from the east coast to the west coast. In my 20s, I ventured abroad to live in Aruba and now I’ve called the Netherlands home for the past few years.

But there is still nothing like a Christmas in Canada! As the true north (yes, the North Pole is in Canada!), there is a certain feeling you get looking out at a vast landscape blanketed in snow. The feeling can’t be described, but it can be felt.

Living abroad, I’ve missed the exaggerated changing of seasons and… the food! I often pine for the foods that make Canada unique and can’t be found anywhere else in the world. Order a caesar at any restaurant (not the salad - the drink!) and you won’t be disappointed.

There is no better way to explore North America than how the locals do it. I have had so much fun working as a content writer on the Little America team, sharing the best spots in Canada, the time to go, and just about everything in between. We can’t wait to share our knowledge with you as your journey across the Atlantic!
