Little America is the United Kingdom arm of TravelEssence - a New Zealand and Australia travel specialist that was launched in 2006 by New Zealander, Andrew Morten. From there, Little America was founded in 2018 to craft custom journeys just for you to Canada and the United States. We are an independent travel specialist and are owner-managed.
Little America and TravelEssence have become a leading travel specialist for fully tailor-made journeys. We pride ourselves on providing unique small-scale hand-selected accommodation and personal activities, all tailored into wonderful and perfectly organised journeys based completely upon your travel wishes and needs.
Due to our roots and experiences, we have carefully selected a range of places to stay and things to do that are unique. Approximately 70% of the properties and activities we offer are not available from any other travel company or online reservation site in the world. We focus on properties that host only a few people at any one time, or even exclusively just you.
Because we create each journey with you, our client, and ensure the places where you stay are what you love. We also strongly advise travelling at a pace that gives time to enjoy each location, instead of a whirlwind tour around a few commercial highlights.
Thus, you arrive happy and relaxed, enjoying a journey away from the crowds. We know for a fact that we have the most unique and carefully selected accommodation and activity selection of any American and Canadian travel specialist in the United Kingdom.
We also provide them with a simple reservation system that almost eliminates the administration required for working with us and also eliminates the chances of any mistakes.

When you book with us, your holiday is protected by ATOL. Little America is affiliated with Air Travel Organiser Licensing - licence No. 11760. Your holiday with us is fully protected by the ATOL scheme under the trading name - Little Travel UK LTD.
If you book a holiday with us, the ATOL cover means that the money you prepay will be refunded if the other party is unable to fulfill the agreed performance due to financial inability. If the agreement also includes transport and the destination has already been reached, the return journey will be taken care of.
When paying for your holiday, even the first deposit, we are more than happy to provide you with our ATOL Certificate to show proof that your holiday is protected.
