Last year I was lucky enough to go on a three week road trip through the South West of the US organised by Little America. Driving through breathtaking scenery with stops around every corner for amazing walks and hikes in the many National Parks, inspired me to write about places you otherwise wouldn’t think of going to, taking you on a journey away from the masses by staying in small scale accommodation run by the friendliest and most helpful locals you'll ever meet.
Travelling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Born in the Netherlands, I moved to Italy when I was seven years old. During the five years that followed, I learnt a completely different language, culture and way of life. So it was from a young age that I learnt that a country is best experienced through the local people, and at Little America, we make sure you’ll do exactly that.
