Hike across the Athabasca Glacier

Embark on a six-hour adventure travelling across the Athabasca Glacier. Discover a magical world of ice, and learn how glaciers are formed, and the way they shape the landscape with professional ACMG-certified guides.

Hike through a surreal glacier world, past shimmering blue ice formations and glittering snow. The tour company is a family-run business that offers the opportunity to not only learn all about glaciers, but to experience their natural wonders first-hand in Jasper National Park.

As you explore the ice on the lower glacier, you will be surrounded by a dazzling view of the Canadian Rockies, deep glacier canyons, and magnificent waterfalls that flow into the depths of the ice. Your lunch break will be spent between pillars of ice and the towering mountain peaks. In total, your tour is 8.5 kilometres long and begins at 9:30 am. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the excursion.
